What is better way to start off this extravagant taste journey than to dip freshly made sourdough bread into some baked hummus? Why baked you ask? Well simply because it’s that much nuttier, creamier and overall tastier!
And just to keep those taste buds tingly, we accompany all of the above with some garlic confit and extra virgin olive oil, produced from our own olives, naturally...
FIRST COURSE
For all those pasta lovers out there here comes a dish to remember. Using monkfish cheeks, which for all foodies out there is the most prized bit, fresh scampi and baked tomatoes and garlic, this is the most delicately balanced seafood pasta you’ll ever know. And as if this was not delicate enough, we add black squid ink from our local Adriatic squid to the fresh home made pasta. Enjoy!
MAIN COURSE
The star of this menu is the Monkfish ofcourse! ‘Don’t judge the book by its cover’ can be applied to his often overlooked gem! Monkfish belongs to the 1st category of fish and its flesh is juicy, white and perfect in every sense. The fish is filleted and placed on top of a bed of baked palenta cubes, covered in truffle and scampi sauce.
Yum is the word for this creamy, perfectly textured fish delicacy.
DESSERT
Fluffy lemon cake is the only proper way to end this extravagant fish journey!
DRINKS
Digestive (liqueur or rakija), a glass of local wine or beer, Nespresso or local coffee and water are included.
