4-COURSE FAMILY STYLE MEDITERRANEAN MENU

APPETIZER

We start off with our homemade flat bread and different types of appetizers.

Fresh green salad and cherry tomatoes from the garden, drizzled with our extra virgin olive oil perfectly complement all the seafood dishes.

FIRST COURSE

Squid moussaka is one of those rich, comfort foods for all seafood lovers out there. 

Stacked julienne potatoes, onions, white wine and a splash of pureed tomatoes with an anchovy here and there and boom - there’s a true wonder of a moussaka for you. 

You can always sprinkle some fresh grated parmesan on top, just for fun!

MAIN COURSE

Scampi alla busara

This is one of those recipes that easily merges all the main flavors of the local south Adriatic cuisine. It’s a must try, and like any traditional dish, everyone has their own version of it. At Wild Orange we have proudly perfected this dish and we’re sure any seafood lover will appreciate the luscious result.

Starting off with a generous amount of Evoo, we add homegrown pelati tomatoes and cook them into a rich sauce. This is followed with sliced tomatoes of all colors, basil, parsley, bay leaves and seasoning. Prawns come in last. The mixture then simmers until thickened with the addition of wine. Once the wine has evaporated, the dish is ready to savor. 

We dare you not to dip fresh sourdough bread into the delicious, mouth-watering sauce!

DESSERT 

A rustic fresh fruit galette is always a good idea to round things up. We use only seasonal fruits to ensure the best possible taste and flavor with little intervention.

DRINKS

Digestive (liqueur or rakija), a glass of local wine or beer, Nespresso or local coffee and water are included.
